This ride started out as a group of just
a handful of friends, many of us members of the Christian Motorcylists Association, who wanted to ride to Ground Zero to honor
all of those who died on 9-11-01. As we all told other friends about it the ride quickly grew to the 200 we had for the first
trip to Ground Zero on October 6, 2002. We feel strongly that all of those who died should always be remembered!

FINANCES: Where do the funds from the ride go? We would like to donate to a charity supporting
those who still suffer the affects of 9-11. If you are aware of one please let us know. The Glenville VFD
also benefits from the ride. In
the past we have bought lots of T-shirts, patches and pins for folks to buy. We have always bought more than we sold.
This year we have cut back on what we purchased. We always give some to the motor officers who escort us. Please
buy them when you get to the site. This helps to defray the cost of the ride (costs include insurance, postage, T's
for the officers, port-a-potties, etc.). T's are $25 for short sleeves, pins are $5.00, patches are $5.00
and $3.00. We have a limited number
of T-shirts, patches and pins from the 2007 ride still available - shirts are $20.00 while patches or pins are
$3.00.
Thank you for your support!
